First Post

Wow this is weird. I mean I haven’t posted my writting in public in my life I suppose. I don’t know why but somehow, the idea that everyone can have the access to my writting just scares me. I know it is not a huge chunk of a deal but I just don’t feel comfortable imagining some strangers reading at my essay or article. But I guess if I think about it, I am surely overreacting.  Oh well this is just my first blog and I think this is my first ever writing to post in public and actually, it is not bad I think. I think I will get better and feel more confident with this entire publicity of my writing issue as the time goes by.

I am trying to come up with some kind of theme for this blog so that I don’t have to struggle with coming up with a new topic every single time when I decide to write something on this thing.  I was going to write whole bunch of emotional phrases or sentences that most Korean kids do on their cyworld mini-homepage or Facebook notes. However, I think its just too emo to write something maudlin everday. I mean come on life is not that depressing.

 I am thinking I might write for those whose voices are neglected. It is one of my Model UN club goals as well. I am trying to organize like a group of people who are willing to speak up for those whose rights have been ignored from our society or our world in general, women’s rights of numerous African countries for instance.

 Oh yea I think it is a great idea!!  I mean the fact that I can publicize my opinion is the biggest advantage of blog right? I mean then why not utilize this advantage and use it for the issues that really need publicity. Now I don’t have to be scared of my writings being exposed to everyone. In fact, I am supposed to be glad that people will be reading about the neglected individuals of our world!!! wow this is great.

 So now, I finally found my theme for this blog. I will be the voice of those who cannot speak for themselves, and I will be the fighter for those who cannot fight for their own rights.

 Hmm then I think the title for this blog should be The VON! The Voice Of the Neglected! Well it might sound cheezy to some people so I might change it later on but yea so far I think this is great. Haha wow, I have been actually really productive for past 20 min. I didn’t know that I could actually come up with the theme and the title of this blog today. haha so yea anyways so my mission to fight against the ignorance and neglection of our world toward specific individuals begins tomorrow!
